Our Team

FLIGHT is made possible by the artists who bring it to life. Each dancer brings their own voice, story, and perspective into the collective — shaping the work in powerful and unexpected ways. Together, we create as a team, rooted in trust, curiosity, and shared purpose.

Joce Satterberg is a dancer, choreographer, educator, and wellness professional whose work bridges athleticism, artistry, and intentional living. With over a decade of professional performance experience, she has collaborated with companies including UDT, KANEISEE Collective, AyanaDanceArts, eMotion Arts Dance Company, KTCHN SYNC, and Garrett Moulton Productions — cultivating a dynamic and versatile voice within the contemporary dance landscape.

In 2018, Joce founded FLIGHT Dance Collective with a clear vision: to expand opportunity beyond traditional spaces and create work that responds to the world through movement. Under her direction, FLIGHT has grown into a collaborative, community-centered collective rooted in curiosity, inclusion, and expressive integrity.

Joce’s artistic approach is deeply informed by her multidisciplinary background. With a B.A. in Dance and extensive training in sports medicine, personal training, nutrition, yoga (RYT 200), and wellness coaching, she champions sustainable artistry — prioritizing longevity, resilience, and mental clarity alongside creative excellence.

Her choreography blends contemporary, ballet, and acrobatics with emotional depth and physical strength. As a director, she leads with intention — fostering environments where dancers feel both challenged and supported, disciplined and free.

At the heart of her work is a belief that movement is a powerful language — one that connects body and mind, individual and community, discipline and creativity.

Through FLIGHT and beyond, Joce continues to build spaces where artists can grow, question, and create with purpose.
