DIRT

A piece built to show unity in difference

Featured October 19th, 20th & November 22, 23, 24

Dirt was created by dancers Nikki Hall and Joce Satterberg. The idea was inspired by the “Close the Camps” fundraiser. This piece represents two very different individuals working together to rise from the ground. As they find togetherness and sameness, their work shows improvement and reflects a “moving forward” motion. However, after a series of events a stop is put on their progress and they are pushed back to where they began…in the dirt.

FDC Company dancers Nikki Hall and Joce Satterberg performed “Dirt” on October 19th & 20th at SAFEhouse in San Francisco, CA.
